Poland introduces new grants for innovation centers to support firms

The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development has opened a call for applications under action 2.18 “Development of Innovation Centre Offer for Companies”. Accredited innovation centres can receive fresh funding to enhance advisory services, testing facilities and technology‑transfer support, especially for SMEs lacking in‑house R&D capabilities.

Guidance for firms seeking external financing highlights the importance of matching projects to appropriate national or EU grant programmes, preparing clear and complete applications, and, where possible, working with grant‑consulting experts to improve success odds. Effective documentation, realistic budgeting and risk‑management plans are emphasized as key criteria for grant‑review committees.
