Poland issues mobilization cards amid disinformation warnings

Military Recruitment Centers in Poland are issuing mobilization cards to individuals who may be assigned specific tasks in the event of mobilization or war. The Ministry of National Defence has clarified that receiving such a document does not signify the start of mobilization; rather, it is a standard part of peacetime defense preparations to assign personnel to specific units or roles based on qualifications.

There are three types of mobilization cards: red cards for reserve soldiers called to active duty, green cards for reserve soldiers called based on specific announcements, and blue cards for Ministry of National Defence employees and certain civilians assigned to specific tasks.

The Ministry has issued an urgent warning regarding a wave of disinformation online. AI-generated images of fake mobilization documents are circulating, causing public concern. Officials urge citizens to remain cautious, avoid sharing unverified content, and contact their local Military Recruitment Center to verify any suspicious documents.
