Poland launches major road repairs on DK94 and Słupsk's Szarych Szeregów street

From July 6, the Piekary Śląskie section of national road DK 94 began a multi‑month renovation. Work, carried out by DROGOPOL, will involve surfacing, curbing and new bituminous layers and is scheduled to finish by mid‑November. The project costs about 6.1 million zł, with 4.2 million zł funded from the Government Fund "Polish Deal".

In Słupsk, repairs on the historic cobblestone Szarych Szeregów street started on June 22. The closed segment, from Armii Krajowej to Powstańców Warszawskich, is expected to remain shut until July 31, though the contractor may finish earlier. Work focuses on fixing damaged paving stones and an adjacent bike path, with adjustments to height rather than full replacement.

Both projects aim to improve traffic flow and safety on key local routes in Poland.
