Poland launches nationwide campaign to prevent child violence
A nationwide social campaign titled ‘Childhood Without Violence’ is running in Poland from October 5 to November 19, 2026. Organized by the Fundacja Dajemy Dzieciom Siłę in cooperation with the National Coalition for Child Protection and supported by the Ombudsman for Children, the initiative aims to increase public awareness regarding violence against minors.
The campaign focuses on promoting responsible parenting, encouraging active prevention, and implementing systemic solutions to protect children. This year, special attention is being given to emotional violence. Educational activities are being conducted in schools to inform youth about peer violence, cyberbullying, and domestic abuse.
Various organizations have joined the effort, including the Polish Federation of Life Defense Movements, which emphasizes that protecting human dignity includes ensuring safety and well-being after birth. To mark the conclusion of the campaign on November 19, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Children, buildings across the country will be illuminated in red.
