Poland launches nationwide health prevention campaign

The Polish Ministry of Health has opened the "September – Month of Health Prevention" campaign, urging citizens to take regular preventive examinations. The initiative, promoted under the slogan "Prevention – pass it on!", highlights early detection of cancers, cardiovascular disease, and women's and children's health issues, and promotes programmes such as mammography, HPV testing and vaccination, colonoscopy and the "My Health" portal.

In line with the national drive, Galeria Łomianki will host a free Health Fair on 18 July. Visitors can receive basic screenings (blood pressure, BMI, blood glucose, vision and hearing tests), consult local medical specialists and learn about bone‑marrow donation with the DKMS foundation. The event also includes first‑aid demonstrations and Tai Chi sessions, aiming to raise local awareness of preventive health measures.
