Poland launches 'Polska Przedsiębiorcza' plan to revive youth entrepreneurship

Think‑tank The Company unveiled the 'Polska Przedsiębiorcza' programme in Warsaw, targeting a revival of Poland’s entrepreneurial spirit and competitiveness. The initiative focuses on four strategic challenges: entrepreneurial ethos, internationalisation of Polish brands, energy and competitiveness, and productivity for the future.

Poland faces a sharp decline in youth business creation, with only 3 % of young Poles planning to start a company – one of the lowest rates globally, according to the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor. The programme’s leaders, including director‑general Adam Malinowski and entrepreneur Rafał Brzoska, warn that without a new growth model, the country risks losing a key engine of economic growth. They call for a stronger partnership between business and state, regulatory stability, and policies that encourage firms of all sizes to invest and expand in Poland.
