Poland launches two new NGOs: Fundacja DAR and First Lady's Blisko Ludzkich Spraw

The newly registered Fundacja DAR (Działamy Aktywnie Razem) held its inaugural meeting on 29 June at the Wieliszew Community‑Cultural Centre. Formed by local residents after opposing the proposed Heron housing project, the foundation aims to protect the natural environment of the Wieliszew area, promote transparent public decision‑making and support community members including seniors and families.

First Lady Marta Nawrocka summarized the first six months of her own foundation, Fundacja Blisko Ludzkich Spraw. The charity focuses on combating exclusion, encouraging civic engagement and promoting health, education, culture and volunteerism. Its projects include "Hate Off – Words Have Power" teaching empathy to children, "Kapitan Polska" celebrating patriotism, and "Oddech dla bohaterek" offering respite to mothers of children with disabilities. The foundation reports reaching over 5,000 people and announced a new initiative to be unveiled on social media. Nawrocka also participated in a NATO spouses summit in Ankara, discussing digital safety for children.
