Poland observes XXVI Papal Day dedicated to Saint John Paul II

In Poland, the Catholic Church is observing the XXVI Papal Day, themed ‘Saint John Paul II. Disciple-Missionary’. The occasion includes fundraising efforts for a scholarship fund dedicated to talented youth from small towns.

Local parish activities include an organ concert by Andrzej Blacha to mark the first anniversary of organ dedication, featuring vocal and violin performances by Alina Blacha. The religious calendar also notes upcoming commemorations for Blessed Honoratus Koźmiński, Saint Teresa of Jesus, Saint Hedwig of Silesia, and Saint Ignatius of Antioch.

Throughout October, parishioners are encouraged to participate in Rosary prayers, with specific scheduled services including a Fatima devotion on the 13th and Rosary adoration led by the ‘Heart of Mary Kecharitomene’ community.
