Poland offers free heart checks in Warsaw and health assessments in Łódź

On 10 June, Warsaw’s Żoliborz district will host a mobile medical unit that provides free blood‑pressure measurements and electrocardiograms as part of the nationwide “Poland under Pressure” campaign aimed at early detection of hypertension, a condition affecting roughly 11 million Poles.

In Łódź, the municipal MCM “Górna” clinics are launching the “My Health” programme, which invites adult residents to complete a health questionnaire, undergo a series of laboratory tests (including blood count, glucose, thyroid and lipid panels) and receive an individual preventive care plan. The frequency of examinations is set at five‑year intervals for people aged 20‑49 and three‑year intervals for those over 50.
