Polish Army opens final 'Wakacje z Wojskiem' 27‑day summer training recruitment

The Polish Ministry of Defence is recruiting for the last round of the "Wakacje z Wojskiem" (Summer with the Military) program, a 27‑day voluntary training course running from 17 August to 12 September 2026. Targeted at citizens aged 18‑35, the course offers up to 6 000 zł gross remuneration, free accommodation, meals, full uniform, medical care and insurance. Participants can choose from various units—including land, armored, airborne, rocket and naval forces—at locations such as Kraków, Hrubieszów, Brzeg, Słupsk and Koszalin.

In parallel, the "wGotowości" defence‑readiness training continues in Warmia‑Masuria, where the 4th Warmian‑Masurian Border Defense Brigade conducts one‑day survival, first‑aid, safety and cyber‑security modules for locals and tourists alike. Both initiatives aim to strengthen societal resilience and provide young Poles with practical skills and possible pathways into the armed forces.
