Poland Pegasus investigative commission adopts final report

The Polish Sejm investigative commission regarding the Pegasus spyware system has concluded its work and officially adopted its final report. During its 131st and final meeting, commission members unanimously voted to accept the document without amendments.

Commission Chairwoman Magdalena Sroka stated that the collected evidence indicates the purchase, provision to Polish services, and use of the Pegasus system against individuals opposing the previous government was illegal.

While several opposition members, including representatives from Konfederacja and PiS, were absent from the meeting, no separate opinions or amendments were submitted by the November 5 deadline. Consequently, the Sejm Speaker will set a date in November to present both the public and classified portions of the report to all members of Parliament.
