Poland: Public views negative on Tusk-Nawrocki relations

Recent polling in Poland indicates significant public dissatisfaction with the current political landscape. According to surveys conducted by Opinia24 and United Surveys, a majority of citizens view the relationship between Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s government and President Karol Nawrocki as a threat to national security. Specifically, 51% of respondents believe these relations negatively impact the country's safety, while only 13% see any positive aspects.

Demographic data reveals a generational divide: younger respondents (ages 18–24) are more likely to view the cooperation positively (20%), whereas skepticism is highest among those over 60, where only 7% see positive outcomes. Gender differences were also noted, with men expressing higher levels of concern regarding the impact of these relations on security compared to women.

In addition to concerns over executive relations, the government faces criticism regarding economic management. A survey shows that 59% of Poles believe the government is ineffective in combating rising fuel prices. Furthermore, 58% of citizens critically assess the current coalition government's overall performance, with opposition voters expressing overwhelmingly negative views.
