Poland: Polls show political instability and leadership doubts
Recent polling in Poland reveals significant public concern regarding political stability and leadership. A United Surveys by IBRiS study indicates that 86.5% of respondents believe the ongoing conflict between the President and the Prime Minister's office threatens national security.
Regarding internal party dynamics, nearly half of the population (48.9%) believes Jarosław Kaczyński no longer controls the Law and Justice (PiS) party. This skepticism is most pronounced among supporters of the current governing coalition, 72% of whom doubt his control, and supporters of the Confederation party, 66% of whom share this view.
Additionally, a Pollster Institute survey shows that 42% of Poles oppose constitutional changes that would limit the President's veto power, while 36% support such restrictions. When excluding undecided voters, the split is 54% against and 46% in favor of limiting the veto.
