Poland promotes EU‑funded projects and offers accessibility loans for businesses

Poland's Warmia‑Mazury region is calling for local organisations to showcase projects financed by European Union funds and the National Recovery Plan during the nationwide "Funduszowy Maj" campaign, which runs from 1 to 31 May 2026. Participants may arrange free public events such as workshops, sports activities, concerts or exhibitions, and must submit a completed application sheet to the regional coordinator.

The Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy also announced that roughly half of the allocated budget for the "Accessibility Plus" loan scheme remains available. Small, medium and large enterprises can obtain interest‑free loans from the Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego to improve architectural, digital or communicational accessibility for people with special needs. No fees or commissions are charged, and up to 15 % of the loan may be forgiven if the investment is properly executed, with an additional 15 % possible upon receipt of an accessibility certificate under the 2019 law.
