Poland railway services face disruptions due to track work

Several railway lines in Poland are facing service disruptions due to modernization and track work.

In the Warsaw area, the SKM S40 line will not run to Radzymin from August 31 to September 30. On weekdays, trains will terminate at Wieliszew, while services are completely suspended on weekends. A replacement bus line, Z40, will operate between Legionowo and Radzymin. Additionally, modernization work by PKP PLK on the S1 line may cause difficulties, though frequency for certain bus connections has been increased to mitigate the impact. Changes to night services on the S2 line are also in effect due to tunnel construction in Wesoła.

Separately, Arriva Polska has announced a 24-hour closure of the railway section between Laskowice Pomorskie and Czersk from August 31 to September 6. During this period, trains will be replaced by buses serving specific stops including Laskowice Pomorskie, Czersk, and several others. Passengers are advised that bicycles, large luggage, and strollers may face transport restrictions on these replacement buses.
