Poland receives five additional F-35A Husarz fighter jets

Five additional Lockheed Martin F-35A Husarz multirole combat aircraft have arrived at the 32nd Tactical Air Base in Łask, Poland. This delivery, provided by the United States Department of War, brings the total number of these aircraft permanently stationed in Poland to eight.

The aircraft arrived following a delivery flight that included a stopover in the Azores. The five new units are identified by serial numbers 3512 through 3516. While eight aircraft are now stationed in Poland, another eight are located at Ebbing Air Force Base in Fort Smith, where Polish personnel are undergoing training.

Poland has ordered a total of 32 F-35A aircraft, with the full delivery expected to be completed by the end of 2029. The remaining 16 aircraft are scheduled to be delivered from the European final assembly line in Cameri, Italy. The ceremony marking the arrival was attended by high-ranking officials, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
