Poland sanatorium rates to decrease starting October 1

Starting October 1, patients in Poland will benefit from lower seasonal rates for sanatorium stays. While the National Health Fund (NFZ) covers medical treatments and procedures, patients are responsible for a portion of accommodation and meal costs. These rates are adjusted twice a year according to official regulations.

For a standard 21-day stay, daily rates for single rooms with full sanitary facilities will be 32.60 PLN, while double rooms with full facilities will cost 19.50 PLN per day. Other options, such as studio rooms or rooms without full sanitary facilities, offer further cost reductions.

In addition to the price changes, recent reports highlight varying standards within NFZ-funded facilities. One patient shared a positive experience at the Arka SPA in Kołobrzeg, praising the high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and staff professionalism, noting that the facility is located approximately 100 meters from the sea.
