Poland: Suspects arrested in attempted murder and gas attacks
Authorities in Poland have responded to two separate violent incidents involving young suspects. In Jaworzno, three young men were arrested and temporarily detained by a court following an attack on a 17-year-old boy. The victim was doused with a flammable liquid and set on fire, an act the prosecutor's office has classified as attempted murder.
In Kraków, municipal guards apprehended a 17-year-old suspect following a pepper spray attack on the Vistula Boulevards. Three men were targeted by the gas, prompting a pursuit near Wawel Hill. The suspect was handed over to the police for further proceedings. These incidents occur amidst increased patrols by local services in both the Silesian and Małopolska regions.
