Poland to hold nationwide National Response Training
Poland is conducting a National Response Training organized by the Academy of Population Protection and Civil Defense (OLiOC). This nationwide initiative, coordinated by the Ministry of Interior and Administration, aims to increase social resilience and prepare citizens for crisis situations.
On August 29, educational points will be established across the country in various locations, including city centers, libraries, and fire stations. Participants can learn practical skills such as recognizing alarm signals, verifying information through official channels like Alert RCB and the Regional Warning System (RSO), and identifying safe shelters. The training also covers how to prepare an emergency evacuation backpack tailored to individual family needs.
The program emphasizes a three-step safety principle: recognize the alarm signal, check official sources for messages, and act by determining the correct procedure and finding shelter. Experts and emergency services, including the police and fire departments, will be present to provide guidance and combat the threat of online disinformation.
