Poland RTV subscription fees to increase in 2027

The National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) has announced an increase in RTV subscription rates in Poland, effective January 1, 2027. This adjustment follows annual inflation-based indexation.

Under the new rates, the monthly fee for owning a television (or a television and radio set) will rise from 30.50 PLN to 34.50 PLN. For those owning only a radio, the monthly fee will increase from 9.50 PLN to 10.80 PLN. If a household owns both devices, only the higher television rate applies.

Payments are due by the 25th day of each month. To encourage advance payments, Poczta Polska offers discounts for paying for multiple months at once, with the largest discount available for a full year of service.

Failure to register or pay for devices will result in higher penalties in 2027. Fines for unregistered television sets will rise to 1,035 PLN, while unregistered radios will incur a penalty of 324 PLN.
