Poland-Italy tourism grows as KLEBER GROUP opens Milan office

Tourism between Poland and Italy is experiencing significant growth, driven by increased flight connections and shifting traveler preferences. In 2025, approximately 811,000 Italians visited Poland, generating roughly 462 million euros in spending. Conversely, Polish travelers to Italy reached approximately 1.77 million, representing a 31.9% year-over-year increase in arrivals from the Polish market.

In Italian regions like Apulia, the impact is highly visible. In Bari, Polish tourists accounted for 16.48% of visitors during a peak August weekend, surpassing local Italian tourists. Similarly, Brindisi saw a 237% increase in visitors during the first five months of the year, with Poles being the largest group. This influx has provided significant tax revenue for local municipalities, which are reinvesting funds into further tourism promotion.

To capitalize on these trends, the KLEBER GROUP has opened a new office in Milan to provide marketing and consultancy services for the growing tourism sector. Meanwhile, travel patterns among Poles show a shift toward shorter, more frequent trips, with many opting for southern European destinations like Italy, Spain, and Greece, even during the shoulder seasons of September and October.
