Poland TV licence fee rules and Netflix prices rise in 2026

In Poland, households must pay a monthly radio‑television licence of 30.50 zł (or 9.50 zł for radio only). The fee applies to any receiver capable of picking up broadcast signals; owners must deregister TVs that are sold, broken, or no longer used through the Poczta Polska portal or a local office to stop further charges. Certain groups are exempt, including people over 75, low‑income pensioners, and disabled veterans. Failure to deregister and stop payment can incur a penalty of up to 915 zł per month plus interest.

Netflix’s 2026 subscription options in Poland include three plans: Basic at 37 zł, Standard at 55 zł, and Premium at 75 zł per month. Differences involve video quality (HD, Full HD, 4K HDR) and the number of simultaneous devices (one, two, or four). Additional users outside the household cost an extra 16 zł each. Payments are made directly to Netflix or via telecom operators, and a free trial is no longer offered.
