Poland's Summer Music Festivals Feature Turnau, Boys, Operetta and Open‑Air Events

A series of summer music events unfolded across Poland in 2026. Singer‑songwriter Grzegorz Turnau performed with a 54‑musician symphonic orchestra in Kraków, Warsaw, Gdańsk, Wrocław and Poznań as part of the Erste Letnie Brzmienia festival, featuring new arrangements by Monika Kochanowicz and guest artists Dorota Miśkiewicz and Natalia Grosiak.

In Stargard, the “Coolturalne Wakacje” programme offered free open‑air discos, cinema screenings and organ concerts under the stars. In Bełchatów, the legendary disco‑polo group Boys headlined the final day of Dni Bełchatowa 2026, where firefighters sprayed the crowd with water, adding a playful splash to the dance‑floor.

Busko‑Zdrój hosted an operetta concert on 29 June 2026 within the Krystyna Jamroz Festival, drawing large crowds to the Park Zdrojowy despite high temperatures. Additional summer concerts included a recital of Anna Jantar’s hits by Małgorzata Jarecka in Stare Babice (10 July) and the opening of the summer season at the Zielona Góra Philharmonic, where director Rafał Kłoczko reflected on five years of growth.

These events highlight the vibrant local music scene, bringing together established Polish artists, classical orchestras and community‑driven cultural programmes throughout the country.
