Poland's car market: Dacia tops registrations as Chinese brands gain share

In the first ten days of July 2026, Dacia emerged as the leading brand in Poland, recording 882 new passenger‑car registrations (3.9% of the total market) and accounting for over 27% of registrations among the group of brands monitored by French.pl. Renault followed with 652 registrations, while other Stellantis marques such as Peugeot, Opel, Fiat and Citroën together logged 1,411 registrations.

June 2026 saw Chinese manufacturers reach a record 14.9% share of the Polish new‑car market. The cheapest Chinese models available were the MG 3 at 69,500 zł, the seven‑seat SWM G03F at 69,900 zł, and the electric Leapmotor T03 at 73,900 zł, each offering a range of equipment and specifications aimed at price‑sensitive buyers.
