Łódź Summer Festival draws record bookings and steep parking fees

Poland’s Łódź Summer Festival is seeing unprecedented demand. City officials report that 93 % of accommodation slots on Booking.com are already sold for the 24‑26 July event, with 90 % of hotel rooms booked and the city’s campsite fully reserved. Prices for a two‑person stay over the weekend start at about 2,000 zł, and the festival’s official website has attracted over one million page visits.

The festival’s free concerts are offset by high ancillary costs. Parking at the Atlas Arena costs 120 zł per day, rising to 360 zł for the three‑day weekend, while a nearby lot on Konstantynowska Street charges 61 zł per day. Camping fees for the on‑site field exceed 250 zł for the entire weekend. Social‑media monitoring shows more than 58 million views and an advertising value of roughly 26 million zł, underscoring the event’s economic impact.

These figures highlight both the festival’s popularity and the financial considerations attendees must plan for despite the free musical programme.
