Poland's CPK hub to receive over 40 billion zł in contracts as new S11 express road segment approved

The state-owned Centralny Port Komunikacyjny (CPK) announced plans to issue 58 procurement contracts this year valued at more than 40 billion zł, bringing the total of announced and already‑active contracts to over 54 billion zł. The tenders cover railway signalling, airport macro‑level works, a cargo terminal, high‑speed rail links such as the first Warsaw‑Łódź segment, and extensive airport‑area infrastructure. Further contracts for projects worth roughly 24 billion zł in 2027 and 17 billion zł in 2028 are also outlined, targeting additional high‑speed rail sections, air‑side and land‑side facilities, and energy infrastructure.

Separately, the construction firm Kobylarnia was selected to build a 13.6‑km stretch of the S11 express road for about 453 million zł under a design‑and‑build contract. The new dual‑carriageway will include access roads, engineering structures, wildlife crossings, acoustic screens and retention basins, aiming to improve connectivity between western Pomerania and Greater Poland.

Both projects are part of Poland’s broader push to modernise transport infrastructure and stimulate regional development.
