Poland's defence sector highlights signal integrity and army modernisation
At the Evertiq Expo in Kraków, Dominik Kowalczyk of DACPOL explained how electromagnetic disturbances can impair radar range, disrupt communications and corrupt data in modern military hardware. He stressed that maintaining signal integrity—from transmitter to receiver—requires careful PCB design, impedance matching and minimising crosstalk, especially as defence electronics become faster and more densely packed.
Separately, Polish defence analysts argue that the experience of the war in Ukraine demands a shift in the Polish army’s doctrine from a purely defensive stance to an offensive mindset. They call for faster adaptation within NATO, stronger informational resilience against Russian disinformation, and greater willingness to conduct pre‑emptive, symmetric actions. The discussion emphasizes that modernising equipment must be matched by a change in strategic thinking to deter aggression.
Both perspectives underline that technical reliability and strategic posture are critical for Poland’s future security.
