Poland's GDDKiA signs contracts for DK75 and S19 road projects

The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) has signed contracts worth over 19 million PLN for the design of two sections of the DK75 "Sądeczanka" road, covering 14.7 km between Wytrzyszczka‑Łososina Dolna and Tęgoborze‑Nowy Sącz. The contracts, signed on 14 July, fund detailed program concepts, geological surveys and design work, with construction slated for 2031‑2035 after further tenders.

Separately, GDDKiA announced a tender to secure the S19 Domaradz‑Krosno segment of the Via Carpatia corridor. After terminating the previous contractor, Mostostal Warszawa, due to non‑compliance with environmental decisions, the agency will first fund asphalt work on a temporary bypass in Iskrzyna to improve safety. A further tender for completing the S19 segment is planned for August‑September, with offers due by 20 July and a 14‑day execution period for the selected contractor.
