Poland's international standing divides public in new poll

A survey conducted by SW Research for Onet reveals divided opinions among Poles regarding Poland's international standing in 2026. According to the data, 33.1% of respondents believe the country's global position has improved, while 27.3% believe it has worsened. Additionally, 27.7% of participants stated that the situation has remained unchanged.

Demographic breakdowns show variations in perception. Men are more likely to report an improvement (36.3%) compared to women (30.2%). Age also plays a role: individuals over the age of 50 hold the most positive view, with 38.1% noting an improvement, whereas the 35-49 age group is the most critical, with 32.1% stating the situation has deteriorated.

A separate poll by the Pollster Research Institute for Super Express indicated a strong desire for political cooperation, with 92% of respondents agreeing that the government and the president should collaborate on essential matters such as security and defense.
