Poland's ISDE team holds 15th place after three days in Portugal
The Polish national team is currently competing in the 100th edition of the FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Grândola, Portugal. After three days of competition, the team holds 15th place in the general classification.
The team has faced significant challenges, including extreme heat approaching 30 degrees Celsius, deep sand, and heavy dust. The Polish squad, which began with four riders—Maciej Więckowski, Dawid Babicz, Szymon Zajączkowski, and Kacper Baklarz—is now competing with three members after Maciej Więckowski was forced to withdraw on the second day due to an oil leak that caused his engine to seize.
Technical issues also affected the event, as organizers had to cancel one of the timed trials due to measurement problems. Despite these obstacles and minor mechanical issues faced by Kacper Baklarz, the remaining riders have reported positive momentum, with Dawid Babicz and Szymon Zajączkowski finding their rhythm on the course.
