Fuel prices near €2 per litre across Italy, Greece and Spain

Gasoline prices in Italy have risen to the 2026 peak of about €1.97 per litre for self‑service stations, while diesel averages €2.14 per litre. The Polish transport sector reports increasing losses as fuel accounts for around 30 % of transport costs while freight rates fall.
