Poland's Law and Justice leaders Morawiecki and Czarnek schedule joint Gorzow meeting amid internal rift

The announcement follows a Wednesday club session that media portrayed as contentious, with claims that senior party figures criticised each other. PiS MP Janusz Cieszyński told RMF FM that the club meeting was calm, stating “there were no shouting” and that internal factions are being overstated by opponents. He confirmed the joint Gorzów event and said the atmosphere of the discussion was “cleansing, good”. Cieszyński also denied that party leader Jarosław Kaczyński has banned internal associations, noting that only the think‑tank OdNowa of Marcin Ociepa is treated as an exception. The episode reflects ongoing power struggles within PiS between Morawiecki’s Development Plus circle and the more radical wing represented by Czarnek.
