Poland's 'Safe Poland Locally' grant program offers NGOs up to 25,000 zł

Poland's "Bezpieczna Polska Lokalnie" (Safe Poland Locally) programme, coordinated by the PKO Bank Polski Foundation and the Polish‑American Freedom Foundation, provides grants of 15,000 to 25,000 zł to non‑governmental organisations for projects that strengthen local solidarity, first‑aid education, crisis response, disinformation counter‑measures and psychological resilience. Applications must be submitted electronically by 15:00 on 30 July 2026, and an online information session for interested NGOs is scheduled for 23 July 2026 at 17:00.

In parallel, ten regional grant competitions will run from June 2026, with a total pool of up to 5 million zł to support at least 200 community projects in towns and municipalities of up to 50,000 residents. The initiative builds on more than 25 years of experience, 17 000 local projects and roughly six million participants, and is financed by the PKO Bank Foundation’s commitment of over 90 million zł to the "Działaj Lokalnie" model of social resilience.

The programme aims to embed crisis preparedness, combat misinformation and foster lasting local networks of support across Poland.
