Polish Lotto to raise ticket price to 5 zł and boost prizes from Aug 18

Totalizator Sportowy announced that the Polish Lotto will undergo its biggest reform since 2009. From the evening draw on 18 August 2026 (22:10) the price of a standard Lotto ticket will rise from 3 zł to 5 zł, a 67 % increase. The minimum guaranteed first‑prize pool will be lifted from 2 million zł to 3 million zł, and the prize for matching three numbers will grow from 24 zł to 35 zł. The optional Lotto Plus game will keep its 1 zł fee. A larger share of the prize pool will be allocated to the top‑prize tiers, intended to accelerate jackpot growth. These changes apply to all draws held three times weekly (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays).
