Overview

July 2026 saw routine Polish lottery draws, with the Ekstra Premia draw on 4 July offering a 66 186 zloty pool but no jackpot winner, while the Lotto draw that day built a 5 million zloty jackpot. A week later Mini Lotto produced unusually large prizes, and between 17 July and 20 July six‑figure wins were claimed in Piotrków Trybunalski and the Wielkopolska region, totalling more than 860 000 zloty. At the end of the month Totalizator Sportowy announced its biggest reform since 2009, to take effect after the 18 August draw. From that draw the price of a standard Lotto ticket will rise from 3 zł to 5 zł (a 67 % increase). The guaranteed first‑tier prize will grow from 2 million zł to 3 million zł, the prize for matching three numbers will rise from 24 zł to 35 zł, and a larger share of the pool will be allocated to top‑prize tiers, while the optional Lotto Plus game remains at 1 zł.
