Poland's Warsaw and Busko‑Zdrój host free classical concerts featuring Chopin
Warsaw's Łazienki Park will stage the opening of the 67th season of the Concerts Chopinowskie on Sunday, 5 July. The free concerts, marking the 100th anniversary of the Chopin monument, will feature pianists Piotr Alexewicz, Jakub Kuszlik and others, soprano Aleksandra Kurzak and a sign‑language induction loop for the hearing‑impaired.
In Busko‑Zdrój, the penultimate day of the 32nd International Music Festival Krystyna Jamroz will present a program of Viennese classics and Chopin recital. A chamber orchestra will play works by Mozart, Strauss and Kreisler at 15:00, followed by a recital by Canadian pianist Kevin Chen at 18:00, showcasing Chopin and Liszt pieces.
