Polaroid and Pokémon announce limited-edition camera collection
Polaroid and The Pokémon Company International have announced a major limited-edition collaboration to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise. The collection features nine distinct items, including three themed instant cameras, specialized film, and various accessories.
The camera lineup includes the Polaroid Now Generation 3 in a Poké Ball design, priced at $139.99, and two compact Polaroid Go Generation 3 models: a Pikachu edition and a Sylveon edition, both priced at $99.99. The cameras feature character-inspired colors and Poké Ball-styled shutter buttons.
Complementing the hardware are themed film packs, such as the Polaroid Color i-Type Film featuring various Pokémon silhouettes, and Go Color film packs for the Pikachu and Sylveon editions. Accessories include a Poké Ball-themed camera case, a photo album, and camera straps. Pre-orders are scheduled to begin on August 25, 2026, with a global release following in October.
