Polícia Federal opens instructor accreditation in São Paulo
The Brazilian Federal Police (PF) has opened registration for the accreditation of weapons and shooting instructors in the state of São Paulo. The application period remains open until August 28, with examinations scheduled to take place on December 1, 2, and 3.
Accredited instructors are legally required to perform practical tests and issue technical capacity reports. These reports are mandatory under the Disarmament Statute (Law 10.826/2003) for individuals seeking to purchase, register, transfer, or renew firearm ownership, as well as for those applying for carry permits.

The selection process involves a document analysis, a social investigation, and four distinct evaluation stages: a written exam on legislation and firearm mechanics, a practical shooting test, an oral exam involving shooting line command simulations, and a weapon assembly and disassembly test.
