Polda Metro Jaya to announce Sutrimo exhumation results this week

Polda Metro Jaya is expected to announce the results of the exhumation and re-autopsy of Sutrimo this week. The investigation aims to determine the exact cause of death for Sutrimo, an associate of former Attorney General Muda Pidana Khusus (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah.

Police spokesperson Kombes Budi Hermanto stated that authorities are currently coordinating with medicolegal forensic doctors to finalize the announcement schedule. He noted that the forensic doctors themselves are responsible for presenting the findings from the examination.

The exhumation process was conducted on August 12, 2026, involving teams from Polda Metro Jaya, Polda Jawa Tengah, the Indonesian National Police Forensic Laboratory, and academic experts. The case has been elevated to the investigation stage, though no suspects have been named at this time.
