Overview

In late July 2026, Sutrimo, the 42-year-old caretaker for the Mordent Clinic building in South Jakarta, was found unconscious with foam emerging from his mouth and nose. He was declared dead on arrival at RS Muhammadiyah Taman Puring. Forensic lead Ahmad Yudianto reported that initial inspections showed “no signs of trauma from blunt or sharp objects.”

Following the exhumation, Polda Metro Jaya analyzed forensic results, witness testimonies, and dozens of CCTV recordings. The footage tracked Sutrimo’s movements from July 22, 2026, showing him traveling on various motorcycles and visiting several clinics prior to his death. On September 29, 2026, Polda Metro Jaya announced the conclusion of its investigation, finding no evidence of criminal activity or legal violations. Medical experts determined the cause of death was ischemic heart disease. Investigators reached this conclusion after analyzing 30 witness statements and forensic laboratory results.
