Polestar unveils Polestar 5 electric grand tourer

Polestar has officially introduced the Polestar 5, a flagship four-seat electric grand tourer designed to compete with high-performance models like the Porsche Taycan. Built on the bespoke Polestar Performance Architecture (PPA), the vehicle features aerodynamic styling inspired by the Precept concept car.

The Polestar 5 is available in two primary variants. The Dual Motor model offers a range of up to 421 miles, while the Performance edition delivers 817bhp and a 0-60mph acceleration time of 3.1 seconds, albeit with a slightly reduced range of 346 miles. The vehicle is noted for its driver-focused handling and distinctive design elements, including a rear-hinged setup and digital rearview mirrors.

In Portugal, the model was presented at Polestar Space Porto and Triauto Vila do Conde to strengthen the brand's presence in the northern region.
