Polestar advances EV lineup with Polestar 5 and updated Polestar 2

Polestar is advancing its electric vehicle lineup with significant updates to its model range. The Polestar 5, a high-performance grand tourer, features racing-inspired technology, including a double wishbone front suspension. The vehicle offers substantial power, with performance variants reaching up to 650 kW (884 PS) and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 3.2 seconds.

Additionally, the brand is preparing a major overhaul for the Polestar 2 to remain competitive against rivals like the BMW i3. The next generation of the Polestar 2 is expected to utilize a new platform, updated motors, and advanced battery technology, including 800-volt architecture for improved range and charging speeds. The redesign aims to align the model's aesthetics with the brand's newer releases, such as the Polestar 4 and 5.
