Polestar expands European electric vehicle lineup
Swedish electric vehicle manufacturer Polestar is strengthening its presence in the European market with the introduction of new models, including the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4.
The Polestar 3 is a high-performance electric crossover featuring 680 horsepower and 870 Nm of torque, powered by a 111 kWh battery. Designed with a minimalist Swedish aesthetic, the vehicle includes premium features such as Nappa leather seats and a 25-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system. Its arrival in certain European markets follows a delay caused by disputes with DS Automobiles.
The Polestar 4 is a coupe-style SUV characterized by its aerodynamic design and the absence of a traditional rear window, utilizing cameras instead. It is noted for its agility in urban environments and its suitability for long-distance travel due to its comfort and range. Originally a high-performance division of Volvo, Polestar now operates as a standalone brand focused exclusively on electric vehicles.
