Polestar unveils Formula 2030 concept car to preview future design
Polestar has confirmed the upcoming debut of its Formula 2030 concept car, a vehicle designed to establish the brand’s future aesthetic and technological direction. The concept serves as a centerpiece for the company’s development strategy through 2030, focusing on performance, technology, and sustainability.
Designed by a team led by Head of Design Philipp Römers, the concept represents an evolution of the brand’s Scandinavian design language. Key features, such as the signature Dual Blade headlights, will be retained to ensure brand recognition. Design elements from the Formula 2030 concept are expected to influence the upcoming Polestar 7 and the new Polestar 2, which is slated for a 2027 launch.
The concept will first be presented to investors, retailers, and VIP customers during a strategy event at Polestar’s headquarters, The Cube, in Gothenburg. A global debut is planned for later this year as part of the media drive for the Polestar 4 SUV.
