Polestar updates electric SUV lineup with new technology

Polestar is advancing its electric vehicle lineup with updates to its SUV models. The Polestar 4 features a distinctive design that replaces the traditional rear window with a roof-mounted camera and a digital rearview mirror. This model emphasizes a minimalist Scandinavian interior, utilizing Android Automotive with Google integration and a large vertical touchscreen.

Meanwhile, the Polestar 3 is undergoing a significant technical overhaul just two years after its market debut. While the exterior remains largely unchanged, the vehicle is transitioning from a 400-volt to an 800-volt architecture to improve charging speeds. The update also includes new batteries, a revised rear motor, increased power output, a faster central computer, and updated chassis components to remain competitive in the premium electric SUV market.
