Police Academy in Szczytno holds officer promotion ceremony

Hundreds of Polish Police officers participated in a formal officer promotion ceremony at the Police Academy in Szczytno on September 16, 2026. During the event, the officers renewed their professional oaths, committing to serve the nation, protect the constitutional legal order of the Republic of Poland, and ensure the safety of citizens, even at the risk of their lives.

The ceremony included the awarding of two stars on the shoulder straps of the new officers, symbolizing their commitment to professional ethics and leadership. The event was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Waldemar Szulc, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Poland, and Łukasz Kochan, representing Bartosz Grodecki, Head of the National Security Bureau. Other attendees included representatives from government and local administration, partner universities, and various uniformed services.
