Polish law enforcement officer ceremonies

Overview

In mid-September 2026, various Polish law enforcement and security services conducted formal ceremonies for new personnel.

On September 16, hundreds of Polish Police officers attended a promotion ceremony at the Police Academy in Szczytno. During the event, officers renewed their professional oaths to protect the constitutional legal order and ensure citizen safety. The ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials, including Waldemar Szulc, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Poland.

By late September, the Polish Border Guard held multiple swearing-in ceremonies. In the Carpathian Border Guard Unit, 29 new personnel were sworn in at the Museum of the Home Army in Kraków. Simultaneously, the Silesian Border Guard Unit conducted proceedings at Piast Castle, where Brigadier General Andrzej Jakubaszek received oaths from new officers. Additionally, 28 personnel in Lubań were appointed to the rank of corporal following the completion of non-commissioned officer training.
