Police Academy of FMUP graduates 118 new officers
The Police Academy of the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs (FMUP) held a graduation ceremony for its 56th class, promoting 118 new police officers. The graduates represent the Sarajevo, Central Bosnia, Bosnian-Podrinje, and Una-Sana cantons.
Federal Minister of Internal Affairs Ramo Isak noted that the Academy has undergone significant expansion over the last three years. Previously capable of training 200 to 270 cadets annually, the facility now has the capacity to train between 1,200 and 1,600 cadets per year. Isak also mentioned an ongoing renovation of a new facility involving an investment of approximately four million KM.
During the ceremony, officials including Sarajevo Canton Interior Minister Admir Katica and Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Interior Minister Edin Vranj addressed the new officers, emphasizing the responsibility and professionalism required for their roles in protecting citizens and property.
