Police arrest multiple suspects in separate theft incidents in Iran

Police in Tehran and Tabriz have apprehended several suspects involved in distinct criminal activities.

In Tehran's Shokoufeh area, officers from the 110 Shohada Police Station arrested three repeat offenders—two women and one man—after they broke into an unoccupied home. The suspects had stolen a water pump and various household items. During the operation, the male suspect attempted to flee to a rooftop but was captured using police tactics. The case has been referred to the intelligence police to investigate potential involvement in other thefts.

In Tabriz, provincial detectives arrested two individuals following a violent robbery involving gold and precious stones. The suspects reportedly lured a seller to a meeting under the guise of a buyer, then used knives and blades to threaten and bind the victim before stealing the valuables. Authorities recovered all stolen property, valued at approximately 50 billion rials, and the suspects have been handed over to the judiciary.
