Police arrest suspects in 80 billion rial gold robbery

Police in the Imamzadeh Hassan area have dismantled a planned robbery involving the theft of gold valued at approximately 80 billion rials. The crime involved a premeditated scheme where a mastermind hired an accomplice to break into a residence.

During the robbery, the perpetrator trapped the homeowner's children in a bathroom and stole roughly 350 grams of gold. Following the incident, officers apprehended one of the thieves at the scene. During interrogation, the suspect revealed the identity and location of the mastermind.

An operational team from the local police station subsequently traveled to Shahriar to arrest the primary suspect and recover the stolen goods. All stolen jewelry was successfully retrieved and returned to the victim.
